MISSION

Giulio’s work is dedicated to the exploration and documentation of the world’s most remote and little-known regions. From the Sahara Desert to the highlands of Tajikistan, the fjords of Musandam in Oman, the forgotten paths of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, the silent wadis of Jordan, and the vast open spaces of Namibia, his journeys form a continuous search for places where nature still defines the rhythm of life and where human presence remains deeply shaped by the land.

Through long-term projects and immersive expeditions, Giulio’s photography captures environments and cultures often left out of dominant narratives. His work is grounded in slowness, observation, and respect, bringing forward visual records that reflect not only the physical reality of these places, but also their emotional and cultural weight.

Whether portraying the resilience of nomadic communities in the Sahara or the stillness of remote mountain villages in Central Asia, Giulio’s mission is to preserve the memory of ways of life that are disappearing, and to offer new ways of seeing the Earth’s margins, not as empty or desolate, but as spaces of meaning, history, and adaptation.

By documenting these vanishing worlds, Giulio invites us to reflect on our relationship with nature, to expand our perception of human geography, and to recognize the beauty and fragility of the remote.
